DeKalb Market Hall has tons of food vendors under one roof, including A Taste of Katz’s, the Brooklyn outpost of the famous Katz’s Delicatessen. It’s a great spot to grab a casual bite and try a little bit of everything.Explore DUMBOWander through the cobblestone streets of DUMBO, one of Brooklyn’s most picturesque neighborhoods. Check out the famous Washington Street photo spot, browse the local shops and galleries, and enjoy the incredible views of the Manhattan Bridge and Manhattan skyline.Brooklyn Bridge ParkHead down to the waterfront for a leisurely walk through Brooklyn Bridge Park. There are beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline, Brooklyn Bridge, and East River, with plenty of spots to sit, relax, and take in the city.Pebble BeachFor one of the best views in Brooklyn, head to Pebble Beach in Brooklyn Bridge Park. It’s a small waterfront spot with incredible views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, and Lower Manhattan. Located in a historic subway station, the museum explores the history of New York City’s subway and transportation system.

Things to Do

Getting into ManhattanThe subway is the easiest way to get around New York City, and there are several convenient stations within walking distance of the hotels.A/C trainsThe A or C train from High Street is a great option for getting into Manhattan, particularly Lower Manhattan. These trains can take you toward stops near the World Trade Center and continue into Midtown.A/C/F trainsJay Street–MetroTech is another convenient subway hub, with the A, C, and F trains. It’s a good option for getting into Manhattan and connecting to other parts of the city.2/3 trainsThe 2 or 3 train from Borough Hall or Clark Street is another easy option. These trains head into Manhattan with stops in Lower Manhattan and continue north through Midtown and the Upper West Side.Our tip: When using the subway, look for trains marked “Manhattan” or “Uptown” depending on your destination. Google Maps is great for finding the fastest route and will tell you which station and train to use.Paying for the subwayThere’s no need to buy a MetroCard. You can simply tap a contactless credit or debit card, or your phone or smartwatch, at the OMNY reader when entering the station.
